Dirk Küster

Dirk began his career in the automotive sector, building expertise in material analysis with Rheinmetall in Germany, aerodynamic case studies, and prototype development in wind tunnels. His engineering skills saw him manage complex technical projects for Ferrari and Lotus, and his leadership in motorsport culminated in three consecutive world championships as team leader of Porsche’s GT3 racing team.

Investing personally, he committed his resources to addressing one of the world’s biggest challenges, decentralised power generation. With development partners, FlowGen created an innovative design, optimised performance, and transferred proven manufacturing concepts from the automotive industry into wind energy.

With over a decade of experience in renewable energy, Dirk has overseen product and system development from concept through to industrialisation, delivering turnkey green energy solutions for B2B customers. His work has focused on creating scalable, modular systems that align with both economic and industrial needs.

Today, Dirk continues to advance FlowGen’s mission, positioning the company at the forefront of decentralised energy solutions.
